Emma is a one year old dog. She is a mixed breed, and is medium-sized, so about 30-45 pounds. Emma loves to play outside with people. She gets along well with little kids and cats. Welcome to our Little Adventure!

      We are a group of fourth and fifth graders who want to solve a problem. Each year, about 3.3 million dogs in America go into an animal shelter. At least 670,000 of these dogs will be euthanized (aspca.org). We want to solve this problem because these poor animals suffer each day, and they shouldn't.

     This blog will be all about these homeless dogs. Our goal is for our blog to succeed in decreasing the amount of dogs that get euthanized each year by teaching people more about how these animals live each day in a shelter, and the impact a long-lasting owner can make on their lives. 

     We believe all dogs deserve a beautiful home with caring owners who give them enough love and care to make them feel wanted. We hope you agree with our idea!
